Is Belly Bloating cramping your style? You know, that puffy feeling in your midsection that on some days stops you from zipping up jeans comfortably?

If you have been eating well, trying to watch your calories, and exercising, and still have this puffy feeling in your belly, otherwise known as bloat, then its time for action.

Here are 5 tips to get rid of belly bloat and get a flatter, sexier midsection in less than a week.

1. Eat a banana everyday. It is full of natural potassium that help you get rid of excess water weight, which is usually the cause of bloat.

2. Potatoes, yes! potatoes, are full of natural potassium (skin on). Eat them baked, with low fat toppings.

3. Drink more fluids. This keeps things moving in your digestive track. This means at least 8 glasses of water a day, plus lots of fluid rich foods, such as fruits and vegetables.

4. Try those new probiotic yogurts that are out now. They will populate your digestive system with "good bacteria" that helps to flush away bloat. Have a single serving container every day.

5. Ditch the added salt! We already get a lot of salt in our everyday foods, and especially in processed foods. So, at the very least, do NOT add salt to your foods. Sodium is a major factor in belly bloating. So, keep this to a minimum.

I personally found a huge difference in bloating when I added a banana to my daily diet, and drank lots of water throughout the day.  Once you get bloating under control, you can look pounds thinner, and actually lose weight without really trying.  Bloating can account for a significant amount of weight.  But especially if you are down to those last few stubborn pounds.  Naturally occuring potassium helps against bloating, but not the supplements.  For this to really work you must get the potassium from natural sources, so as not to upset your mineral balances.  Bananas and Baked Potatoes (skin on) are some of the top sources of naturally occuring potassium.

You can make changes and lose weight without diet pills, extreme diets or exercise or cutting out entire food groups.  In order for this to work you need to do something you can still with.
