How To Lose Weight Without Exercise

Good Diet and exercise should always go together, but there are ways to lose a few pounds without exercise, if you are otherwise healthy.  The first and easiest way is to cut out any "garbage" foods for a few days.  If you are trying to lose a few pounds for a special event or to look better in that dress, then depending on how much time you have to do this in, this could be the difference.

1.  Garbage Foods need a kick out the door.  That means chips, candy, sugar drinks, and that includes alchohol. (this has lots of empty calories)

2.  Drink lots of water - Add a few slices of lemons to a large jug of water.  This jug should hold at least 64 ounces (or the same as 8 glasses of water as a minimum)  Keep this in the fridge, and make sure you drink it over the day.  The lemon just makes it more refreshing, plus lemon helps with bloat. 

3.  Bloat - Bloat can be the cause of at least 5 pounds in some people, and can make your stomach look bigger than it is, which is not good for that special dress this weekend.  Start by cutting out any added salts and stay away from packaged goods while you are trying to lose weight without exercise.  Packaged foods tend to have a lot of salt or sodium listed.  this is what can cause that puffiness the next day.

4.  Don't eat out while you are trying to lose this weight, unless you know the place you want to go has a great healthy menu and you know you have the willpower to avoid those fatty foods, and especially the salty ones, which are common at buffets and especially the Chinese food restaurants.

5.  I know you don't want to do exercise for this, but it wouldn't hurt you to add a few flights of stairs into your day, or maybe give the dog an extra walk.  You don't have to have a sweaty workout for this to work.  Any movement will help to keep your body reved up to burn off some calories.  So, if what you do right now is not working, then add something different such as climb the stairs a few times in your house or at work.  I find it works well at getting rid of bloat and moving things along. Or really exagerate the housework, such as scrubbing and vacuuming back and forth with those arms.

6Eat lots of fruits and vegetables - This adds fiber which keeps things moving along.  If you tend to get constipated and the Doctor wants you to add more fiber to your day, then try and do it over a few days, as they can cause bloat if your body is not used to it. 

7.  Read labels!!   This is a big one.  Until I started paying attention to labels, I thought I ate the healthy foods.  At a local donut shop I asked for the nutritional values of some of their bran muffins and other goods, it turns out the bran muffin they were offering was higher in fat and calories than there simple glazed donut!!!.   So make sure and read the labels.

8.  If you have the time, then follow page one of this site http://www.steadyfatloss.com/   and cut out a few extras during your day.  The more time you have to work on this the better.  But if you are in a hurry for a few pounds to come off.  DON'T starve yourself, it will only make you miserable and you won't enjoy your day.

So, how to lose weight without exercise?  If you have the time, a few adjustments to your diet should work, if you only have a week or so, then cut out the bad stuff and concentrate on healthy foods and lots of water and no sodas or sugar.  You may actually feel so much better you will feel the energy to get up and move!
