Lose Weight and Fit Into That Dress

Ok, so that party is coming up and you need to know how to lose weight in two weeks.

Well we all know that you may lose a few pounds, but two weeks is not enough time to really lose any serious weight and if you try and starve yourself, you will just end up sick and not enjoy the event you wanted to look so go for in the first place!

If you have already bought the little black dress or cocktail dress and it feels a little tight, then we have some time to lose a little weight in 2 weeks, and help that dress fit better.

In actual fact, one of the easiest ways to lose about 4 pounds in 2 weeks (maybe 5 if you carry some extra weight) is to simply eat like the food guide recommends.  Boring eh?  I bet you were hoping for pills or tricks or liquid right?

One of the easiest ways to lose weight in two weeks,  is to get rid of all pre-packaged foods and make fresh.  Do not add too much salt to anything and drink lots of water and ditch all alcohol for the next 2 weeks (alcohol can be up to 200 calories for a single 4 ounce glass of wine).

Get rid of all soft drinks, even the diet ones, and have water only.

If you drink a lot of sodas, this might get rid of some weight fast

Get rid of all wine, beer and spirits for the next two weeks.

Even if you drink a couple glasses of wine a day or beer, this will drop weight fast too as these are liquid calories that can cause just as much weight gain as food.

No more pre-packaged foods, they are expensive anyways, and are full of salt and sugar.

So, skip the mac and cheese, and the hamburger helper and other instant foods and make your own.  Find recipes on the internet and start a new chapter in your meals.

Lots of fresh vegetables

Chop some up every few days, so that you will reach into the fridge and grab some ready to eat and already washed and cut.  This will help to stop eating everything else

No takeout foods for the next two weeks.  This includes Pizza, Chinese and others.

They are loaded with salt that will make you feel puffy and for sure will affect how that dress fits. Plus they are full of hidden calories.

No more junk food or fast food, that is full of fat and salt

Just stay away from those drive thru’s on the way home from work.  Those fries and burgers can add huge salt and fat to your diet.

Clean out your house of all junk foods, chips, cookies, ice cream and more at least for the next 2 weeks.



If you get started with most of this list for the next two weeks you should lose 2 pounds a week, unless you were already close to your ideal weight, but then you will lose some bloat in your belly which can make you look heavier as well.

Hopefully you get used to these new foods you will be trying and continue with your healthy eating.  Once you get past missing the junk and sugar, you will be surprised just how energetic and better feeling you will be.

By shopping in the outer aisles of your grocery store you will get the fresh foods.  Choose whole grain breads and fresh fruits and veggies and lean meats and protein.  If you are really missing dessert consider getting fresh fruit or frozen fruit and topping it with thick Greek Yogurt and a piece of dark chocolate.  This is still healthy and very little fat, but will fill you up.

So, if you want to know, how to lose weight in two weeks?, then follow the list above.  Think twice about all convenience foods and you will drop not only weight but bloat in your belly and will feel a lot better. 

Even if you only lose 3 pounds or so, you will actually be slimmer and look like you lost more than that with the bloat out of the way.
